The Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2025 is happening from 3 to 5 October 2025. To prepare for the world’s only night race, major road closures and traffic changes will take place in the Marina Bay area from 1 October (12:01 am) until 7 October (5:30 am).

Road Closures & Peak-Hour Openings

  • Full Closures: 1 Oct (Wed, 12:01 am) – 7 Oct (Tue, 5:30 am)

  • Roads around Marina Centre, Padang, and Bayfront will be fully closed to traffic.

  • Auxiliary Police Officers and signage will guide traffic during the event.

Selected Corridors (open during peak hours):

  • 1 & 2 Oct, 5:30 am – 10:00 am

  • 3 Oct, 5:30 am – 10:00 am

  • 6 Oct, 5:30 am – 10:00 am and 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
    These include Collyer Quay → Stamford Road → Orchard, Nicoll Highway → Esplanade / Stamford, and Republic Boulevard → Bayfront Avenue.

A-Lane Access

To support Marina Centre businesses and hotels, a single-lane access route (A-Lane) will be open via:

  • Rochor Road → Temasek Boulevard

  • Raffles Boulevard via Nicoll Highway / Temasek Boulevard

Operating hours (except buses & W/X/Y plate vehicles):

  • 1 to 3 Oct: 12 am to 6 am, 10 am to 5 pm, 10 pm to 12 am

  • 4 to 5 Oct: 12 am to 1 pm

  • 6 Oct: 12 am to 6 am, 10 am to 5 pm, 10 pm to 12 am

  • 7 Oct: 12 am to 5:30 am

Taxis & motorcycles may use A-Lane at all times, except during race hours.
